Genral principles: this test device according to the requests of in standard UL1581-2001 the 1060th section,vertical burning and FT1 test、the 1061th (cable flame test)、the 1080th(VW-1 flame test)、the 1090th(The electric appliance uses the line horizontal firing experiment)、1100th(horizontal specimen/FT2 burning test)
VW-1 Flame Tester Control system：
A、intelligent touchscreen and PLC are main control，testing time、testing times、burn-extending time are set and recorded on the touch-screen.In order to make the testing result more accurate，simple pilot model  menu operation、direct-viewing！  
B、match high precison burning-extending control system,can record the stopping burning time automatically and accurately ,reduce testing error; except the special test.
C、match temperature measurement system，can control and adjust the needed temperature accurately.
1）thermo sensor（copper pipe and thermocouple）— the pipe should be extreme conductive electroanalysis copper；the flame of 1.75g pipe is 20mm，the flame of 10g pipe is 125mm.
2）K type thermocouple，match stainless steel tube that diameter of  0.5mm as sheaths.
3）Intelligent temperature control meter and K type thermocouple well matched ; the reading can  up to more than 800℃.
3、Test device and test clamp： 
A、Clamps：bracket and burning blowtorch  
B、Bracket：made of 304 stainless steel，seperate into horizontal bracket and vertical bracket
C、burning blowtorch：in accordance with ASTMD 5025-99，standard power：vertical blowtorch 500W，horizontal blowtorch 225W、diameter of crater：0.90±0.03mm，length of blowtorch：1.60±0.05mm,  height between crater  and air port 102mm，blowtorch angle：horizontal 90°、vertical 20°.
4、gas and gasflow control system：
A、gas：methane,purity of 98%，heating value 998BTU(Britain thermal unit)/cube feet; 37.1MJ/ft3 ;(self-prepare)
B、gas flow control system：
1）Including：flowmeter、pressure gauge、pressure reducing valve
2）flowmeter：In accordance with D3195 to calibrate;match a flowmeter that prcision not less than 2%;flow range：1000ml/min.
3）gas pressure reducing valve：1pcs，adjust the air flow to 10lb/ft3.
Flame chamber：
 A、this flame chamber is made of 304 stainless steel，it has beautiful appearance , and it’s not only  antirust but also antiseptic and so on.
 B、The top of the chamber is installed with force convulsion discharges smoke exhaust system,it can  vent the exhaust gas out of outdoor;
      （if need environmental protection ，add environmental treatment system）
 C、The face of chamber is installed with airproof toughened glass window, it’s convenient for the  operator to observe the process of the test. 
 D、The right face of chamber is installed with observation door, it’s convenient for the operator to observe the process of the test.
